Samsung unveils 10.1 Galaxy Tab soon



BANGALORE, INDIA: After months of delay, Samsung is all set to release  Galaxy Tab 10.1, its competitor to Apple's iPad 2.
The news is that the new tablet would be released at a scheduled Samsung event in May last week or at the Google’s I/O developer conference in June. Samsung is expected to deliver about 5000 copies of its new Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was unveiled the new Honeycomb tablet during February in Barcelona.
The new Android tablet is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor from NVIDIA and features a 10.1-inch
1280 x 800 (WXGA) TFT capacitive display, 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash which is capable of full 1080p
video recording, 2 megapixel shooter on the front for video calling, and either 16 or 32GB of internal storage.
The Tab 10.1 features HSPA+ 21Mbps connectivity over 850/900/1900/2100 and EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900,
in addition to Bluetooth technology v 2.1 + EDR, USB 2.0, and WiFi 802.11 (a/b/g/n). The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
measures in at 246.2 x 170.4 x 10.9mm and weighs 599 grams which is pretty surprising since it comes equipped with
a 6860mAh battery.
